How to solve trigonometric equations with multiple angles?

I'm trying to solve equations like:

sin2x+sinx=0\sin 2x + \sin x = 0

and

cos3xcosx=0\cos 3x - \cos x = 0

Should I use sum-to-product identities, or is it better to use double-angle formulas? What's the general strategy for finding all solutions in the interval [0,2π)[0, 2\pi)?
