If 0.999 repeating equals 1 then is 0.999 repeating 8 also equal to 0.999 repeating 9

If 0.9=10.\overline{9} = 1, then does 0.8=0.90.\overline{8} = 0.\overline{9}?

Wait no thats dumb. But hear me out:

If 0.999...=10.999... = 1, then what about 0.0999...0.0999...? Is that 0.10.1?

And what about 0.999...80.999...8? Like infinite 9s then an 8 at the "end"? I know there is no end but someone on Reddit was saying this is how surreal numbers work and now im confused.

Also: does 1.011.\overline{0}1 exist? Like 1 point infinite zeros then a 1? My brain hurts.
